Good to see you also Sage, hope you had a good late evening sesh in Durham
As to the game, I didn't mind the formation & line up and probably would have gone the same given how ineffective Osborn has been at DCM. We possibly were too similar with the split number 10s i.e. a mixture of the creative & all out pace may have made us less predictable to defend against. That said in general play we did get into some promising positions (most notably via Wilson) but the final ball often wasn't good enough. We also surrended possession far too easily throughout...a lot of heavy touches & careless passes, one of which led to their opener.
Also felt sorry for Yates who looked very isolated at times & felt Harness & Chirewa needed to be a lot closer to him. One of my criticisms of this season has been how disjointed & individualistic we've looked as an attacking unit - little sense of us attacking in packs with intelligent runs creating space. Sadly last night was more of the same with us being far too deep & relying on one man to beat 2/3 defenders - it just isn't likely to happen.
Massive game Saturday - need a win or we're likely to be bottom 6 come 5pm Saturday.
